It takes a lot for me to like wallet. Something either needs to be unique about the wallet, or it just needs to be plain beautiful. When I came across the Dolce & Gabbana “Lock” Wallet, as I like to call it, I was quite impressed. It was fairly simple, but yet the little lock in front of the wallet made it look that much more cuter and stylish.

What is cool about a wallet like this, is that you really could wear it two different ways. I would personally use this as a wallet to throw in my purse, but some people like to use stylish wallets as if they were a clutch. Think about it, if you have nothing to bring with you other than money or some credit cards then carrying a wallet like a clutch wouldn’t seem like a bad idea. I could never go anywhere without a cell phone, but if you can live without a cell phone, and lip gloss then carrying around a stunning wallet would probably be ideal for you.

The padlock really makes this wallet look unique to me, and that’s not even the coolest part. The top zip closure has an attached leather strap and keyring, so that you can actually “lock” the wallet up. Not very ideal, but definitely a cute little feature to the wallet.

Gorgeous and Exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue, the Dolce & Gabbana Miss Marylou Satchel is sure to be a bag that can not be missed. Shaped like a Louis Vuitton Speedy and being accented with quilted leather, this handbag is a pure beauty.

It does look exactly like the size of a Louis Vuitton Speedy 25, but of course Dolce & Gabbana had to put their own flare on their take of the iconic handbag. I love everything about this bad from the double zipper closure to the nylon animal print lining in the interior of the handbag.

There is one feature of the handbag that I do not understand, and that is the golden hardware on the exterior of the bag. It makes it look like some sort of clasp could of been put on and taken off from it, but the handbag comes with no straps or anything. It makes it look like a ring on the front of the bag, that is used for nothing.

I would love to add this handbag to my collection, but I fear that I wouldn’t carry it much. The handbag is stunning, but with the style and quilted leather, it makes the handbag look very much like a Fall/Winter handbag. If you live in a state that has cold weather for a majority of the year, the quilted bag would probably go great with your “cold weather” attire.

I absolutely love the colors black and pink. Pretty much almost everything I own is either black or pink. When I come across a handbag in either one of the colors I’m usually stunned. I’m not too fond of small handbags, but the D&G Babbles is catching my eye!

I’m a girly girl to the fullest, so it’s no surprise that my favorite feature of this bag is the bow! The bow is what caught my eye about this bag. Being pink and having a bow right on the front of this bag is adorable and cute all put into one!

Another amazing feature about this bag is that it can be carried as a clutch or worn as a shoulder bag. The bag does have a shoulder chain that can be tucked inside, which gives you the option to wear the bag 1-of-2 ways!

The only downfall about this bag is that it is way too small for my needs. It would be a cute evening bag, but only on those nights when I don’t have to carry much. I’m the type of person that needs to carry as much as possible when I go out, and to only be able to carry a wallet, gum, compact and cell phone would probably kill me.

I do believe this bag can be worn either day or night just because it has that cuteness factor. It would probably be more practical to purchase the clutch in black than pink. Black is always a practical and versatile color to purchase a bag in than pink. There is no denying though, that the pink version is adorable!

The Dolce & Gabbana Babbles can be purchased in either color at Zappos: The Pink Version is available for $479 – The Black is available for $599. The price’s do seem a bit high, but when it comes to adorable designer goods it may just be worth it.

but i tried the LV jokes one and fell deeply in love, the multi-zipper ideas that looks stupid at first became a practical idea. i love how the bag have separate compartments.
the D&G lily share the same idea, but with longer handle strap and more separate compartments which kinda overwhelmed IMO.

so, here's my opinion on both bags.

there's 2 size spotted on the spring 2009 runway show, but until this post published, only seen the smaller one in the website and the store. love both sizes, the small one is cute and the big one is amazing. both have good size proportions IMO
created by collaboration with Richard Prince, i love the fading effect. the 2 compartments are perfect too to separate personal and work stuffs.
the exotic skin trimming add extra value and make this bag richer.
the shape are unique, it's like the classic speedy.

made from all leather, and a whole lot of top zippers, although there's 5 zippers, the middle 3 open up to a same compartment, so there's only 3 separate compartments.
what i love about this bag is the leather, looks very yummy. but the proportion of the bag seems not right to me, and the top zippers are overwhelmed and not in a good way, especially when carried, it droops and REALLY droops. me no like it :(

Above, you might see the latest designer handbag for spring 09’, but what I really see a life jacket. Seriously, can you guys see the resemblance? The silhouette of the bag which appears to be inflatable, the rounded collar opening, the adjustable drawstrings detail?! I say Dolce & Gabbana got their inspiration for this piece while they were boating around somewhere. The Waikiki Jenna Shoulder bag is indeed an awkward looking bag, and definitely not your typical tote bag. I’m curious on how you’d wear this piece, unfortunately, Nordstrom (dot com) didn’t include modeling pics. Clearly the detachable strap is worn over the shoulder, but what about the giant opening up front, is it meant for the crook of the arm, or can it fit on the shoulder? Whatever the case, it does seem pretty comfy.

More bag details includes a magnetic closure, supple D&G leather, and an amazing 20” x 20” x 4” dimensions. You can find the Waikiki Jenna bag in fun florescent colors of pink and light green. Personally, I’m not feeling the style as it’s too out of the ordinary for me, but this seems like the perfect bag for the trendy Fashionista whose in search of something new and fun.
